Accountability

One of the hardest things to do is take accountability for our wrong actions. I think one reason is bc accountability will force a person to either change or rest with the fact that they are a “low vibrational” person. To me, not taking accountability is one of the ugliest, most detrimental, and unfruitful characteristics that one can possess.

I didn’t learn to take accountability until I met the current husband. It wasn’t bc I just all of a sudden decided to take accountability when I got involved with him, but it was bc I had finally met someone who wasn’t afraid to expose my flaws to me. Flaws that were created outstripped of my control and flaws that were gained from many poor choices that I had made in life.

Note: His approach with exposing these flaws to me has been the best, but I still chose to take advantage of the observations for the sake of becoming a better person in my own eyes.

Accountability can literally save you a multitude of problems in life, bc not only does it force you to grow and become better, but it makes you a more attractive person for others to interact with and/or be connected to.

I am very weary of but understanding and sympathetic for people who take no accountability for their wrong actions and negative character behaviors, bc I was once that person(still healing), and that type of characteristic blinded me to a version of myself that was very “nasty.” So, I am weary of these type people bc I am aware of traumas that they may possess that may cause them to “flip” under any circumstance where they may feel offended, or act in any way that may cause problems for me.

So today, I want to encourage you to stop observing the lives of others for a moment, and observe yourself in every way possible. Seek to learn thyself at the highest level, and work to become better and more pleasing of a person to God. We all know enough about ourselves to know whether there is room for improvement, but take the extra mile learn more, and try to find things that you can take accountability for that may have caused you, your children, or anyone else any type of pain, inconvenience, or anything unwanted in their life. I guarantee this will make you a better person and force you into a mind and heart of humility, forgiveness, and conviction that will cause you to be forgiven and live a life more pleasing to God😇

Heal child of God, by simply taking accountability where it is needed and apologizing to yourself and/or someone else for your poor choices and/or the offenses you may have caused against them❤️
