“Prom Queen”
All of my life in school, all the way up until I graduated high school, I was an A student and honors student. When I was in middle school and high school, I played basketball, softball, and volleyball. Academics and Sports was a big deal in the city I grew up in, Hartsville SC, and usually if you played sports, and was decent, you were socially “valued” or “respected”. Being smart wasn’t always a perk tho lol. It was also a big deal in the city to be selected as homecoming and/or prom king or queen. During these times, the winners were selected by unanimous votes by the students.

Your testimony boosted my spirit, you really tackled a lot that hit home for me. “ I AM NOT OKAY” I Thank God for his amazing grace in this moment right now. Hearing your testimony was breathtaking. I went through every single thing you did. My husband pulled all of my dark flaws from the bottom I put to the back of my mind for years and I couldn’t understand why I lashed out on him the most. But now I know “I AM NOT OKAY”
